My
Dearest Courtney,
It has been a year since you became one of God's Special Angels.
Even though
you are not here with us in body I know you are here in spirit.
There are so many times throughout my day that I can feel you with me,
leading me down the right path when I am feeling lost, confused or
just tired from the day to day grind of life. Feeling that you
are with me is a great comfort. I often imagine that you have
your arms wrapped around me (as you often did) telling me how much you
love me. I miss those moments very much.
Your
time here on Earth was cut too short. There were
still many lessons left for you to teach, for the rest of us to
learn. You had it all figured out. Loving others
unconditionally is what you did best. Never asking for anything
in return. Thank you for sharing those lessons with me.
As adults, we often know the right things to do but get so caught up
in our own emotions that we tend to forget how our actions are
impacting others.
Through your eyes, I saw the important things. For that I
will always be grateful. You always brought such joy to each
heart you touched. My hope is that I will live my life the
way I know you would have continued to live yours.
Your laugh,
your smile, your compassionate spirit are
what I most remember and those memories I will cherish.
Thank you for coming into my life and helping me to truly
value what's most important. I MISS YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!
